Bringing Up Kids... The Quotes

Simply having children does not make mothers (John A. Shedd). Parenthood is not a simple role; you love your kids but most of the time there are conflict within when you are trying to teach or protect them. You mean good but your kids might not think so. As Bette Davis put it best “If you have never been hated by your child, you have never been a parent”. Barbara Kingsolver (Animal Dreams) said “It kills you to see them grow up. But I guess it would kill you quicker if they didn’t”. It is always a wonderful thing to witness their growth from time to time, despite of the ups and especially, the downs.
